About Fabrizio Cavalca
Fabrizio Cavalca is a man with three passions: Music, Design and Horology. With Steinway & Sons Watches, Fabrizio has managed to harmoniously combine all three.
Most of us 'hear' music. Many emotionally 'feel' music. Fabrizio 'sees' music. The harmonies and melodies are not simply heard and felt, but actually form shapes and patterns in his mind. To Fabrizio, sound and design are simply two sides of the same coin.
It was this duality of sonance and shape, which lured Fabrizio away from being a professional pianist and into the world of design. A friendship with a talented watchmaker, who unselfishly shared his knowledge, opened the door to the facinating world of horology and Fabrizio was soon designing his own line of watches.
