Pianoforte (Pty) Ltd was appointed by Steinway & Sons as their accredited sole and exclusive importers and distributors of the Steinway Family of pianos into Southern Africa.
In November 2006, we opened our Cape Town showroom, followed by the opening of our Sandton showroom in May 2007. These facilities afford our clients the opportunity to audition examples of our range of instruments in private. Our clients include concert halls, conservatories, schools, churches, hotels, restaurants as well as amateur and professional pianists across the Southern African region.
During 2007 Pianoforte was appointed as the sole and exclusive distributor of the award winning Steinway Lyngdorf Home Entertainment Music Systems. Our custom installers have received specialized training to ensure optimal performance of these systems.
Clients from the Southern African region now enjoy convenient access to the iconic Steinway & Sons' brand, supported by the dedicated expertise of the Pianoforte team.
